Maintenance on these scooters is imparitive. Oil changes at least every 1,000mi and only takes 30min if your quick (DO IT), they only take a quart mostly (CHEAP) even for the best on the market like Royal Purple/Rotella-T/Moble 1 or something at $8.00 a quart, I recommend 20-50wt Don't buy cheap shit PLEASE unless your willing to replace your whole engine for $400. This things run (HOT) and compared to a car/truck winging at 1,700-2,200rpms at highway speed 65mph these are turning 3,000-8,000rpm's on a regular basis on the city streets, much more work being done there. DON'T NEGLECT THAT LIL,MOTOR.

Well since my other muffler fell apart on Neil I finally got the new one and installed as painful and careful as I could. This one is a pretty trick color though and is the same as the other only blue carbon fibre. There were only 2 of these made for show bikes that the guy that special ordered them never paid for so I got one which is what I wanted in the first place but the guy wouldn't sell them because they were already spoken for. He has one left. Oh and I bought this other muffler before I got this one that said it was for a 125-150cc Bullshit, the inside diameter of the adapter is around 24.4mm and the outside diameter of Tylors 50cc Sunl is about 24.4mm perfect for a 50cc if you guys are interested in getting one of these, take and outside measurement of your primary header pipe. This is a straight though muffler and made pretty well, stainless and only about 13" long. I'm going to mount this one on Tylors scoot as soon as I can walk straight. here a link to the eBay site, it was only like $60 shipped. You can look straight though this muffler just like mine and I'm sure this is what you were looking for David Finney! Click Here

Well the turnout was awesome, 15 of us to start with. Looked pretty cool riding through Norfolk I'm sure. Two motorcycles up front 13 scooters in the middle and my sweet looking support truck with the Website Header Banner on the tailgate and the Emergency Flashers on behind us. Two bailed in Ocean View because of the heat and then we had some heat related breakdowns on shoredrive around great neck rd.. So we stopped at Mc D's ate and cooled off and went our seperate ways, just to hot to ride at 25-35mph, thanks to everyone for giving it a shot, we didn't anticipate this heat wave. We'll get something going when it cools off. Unfortunently like I thought being untested the helmet cam angle was looking at the street lights. But we got a few pics and a small video with the camera from the support truck. And a big thanks to Bobby for making us a Banner to fly where ever we're at, just make sure that troublesome scoot of yours will hold up next time Bob hahahaha, we'll give it a once over before we leave eh! Love ya brother and I guess I got you home just in time, I drove right into a THUNDERSTORM on the way home. I can't remember all your names but if you could shoot me an email with your name that would be cool. Anybody not on this list. There was Phillip,Tyler,Neil,Todd,Moe,Scooter,Me Steve,Billy,Donovan,Willie,Smokie,Mark and I'm missing about 3 names.
For a canceled meeting It was pretty cool, we went from the Library to my place to pick up my scoot then from there to pungo on to sandbridge and sat in the resturant and shot the breeze. Then from there down general booth to pacific ave and on to ocean view where I broke off. From left to right Scooter,David,Steve,Neil & Billy. Had a good time fellas! On the way back down Upton we passed the Total Ruckus scooter club heading to Sandbridge I assume, Heh Total Ruckus. It would be EPIC if we could get all these clubs together for one big scooter Rally, lets work on that.

It was fine and we headed out on our ride. I love my wife and don't want to make her a widow anytime soon. Hopefully. Love all you guys too though. Cheers. Sorry about the angle of this video but it WAS connected to my helmet and I'll get the angle right sooner or later. Got the ride angle right though SO FAR.

Finally got the dent fixed in the tank with a little body putty and painted it and the front and Back fender and Pin Stripped them in Gold she's looking pretty sweet. Next I have the special tools and torque wrenchs and will be adjusting the valves and getting the carburators tuned and sycronized then the seat Re-Upolstered..Old bikes are a pain in the ass but gotta love that vintage look. .
Check This Out, Had a problem with it running rather crappy. I installed a Hi-Flow Carbon Fibre Muffler (A Little Loud And Sounds Like a Ducatti, Real Deep unlike a scooter) and a Hi-Flow CoolAir Intake made from a radiator hose I bought at Advance and a Hi-Performance Air Filter from Scrappydog Scooters. Upon removing the the old intake tube I found that it was cracked in several places, Not Good. So with more air in and more exhaust out I bought a jet kit off eBay with a 120/125/130/135 main jets. Reading the manual I have for download on here in the Performance upgrade pdf for a stock GY6 it recommended a 130 Jet for a Hi-Flow Intake and Exhaust upgrade and WOW this runs smooth as hell and makes a TON of power compared to what it was like stock. much more enjoyable to ride. This video basically tells all I've done to it with the exception of maybe a few things I left out since I got it from BL4KKAT.
got bike started -guess dried out -got almost all the way home.. and either the belt broke.. or I blew the engine -had to push the bike 6.5 miles home... gawd Im tired
water was 2-3" deep -the splash hit my feet -it tried to sputter a little and then had hard time hitting gas hard but would build up speed. I stopped and started like 3 times b4 going to fill my tank and then no start at all -just keeps turning and trying.. but no "spark" -almost same as b4 they did my valves
If the engine was under water. You better drain the oil before even trying to start it or you'll trash the bearings if theres any water in the crankcase.
The coil is the device the plugwire is attached to, has 2 wires hooked to it Pos/neg and comes off with one bolt. the stator is behind the flywheel/fan!
drain the oil for sure just in case. I'd take the coil and plugwire and the plug off and bring it in the house and put it in the oven at 170 low for a while and let it dry thoroughly. also you may have gotten water in the stator. it'll dry out in time.
argh.. got forced into a "mini lake" on military and now the bike wont start -checked all hoses, wires, took the carb off to check.. just bout anything I can take off to check and still no start.. anyone have ideas?
thanx -sorry havnt been on in awhile -had stuff going on and we now live in Deep Creek -if cant fix it.. dont worry.. just have to wait till $ comes in, but thank you either way
Heh Bobby, i put yer harddrive in my laptop, same result I could not install an operating system. Harddrive is mucked up. Needs a new one. I'll see if i can find a cheap one off ebay and fix it.
Big air pump, restrictions on either end will cause problems, they have to be balanced. If you did, I'd play with the Main Jet size, mine ran fucking great with a 130, but I have a 125 in it now and it's sluggish mid throttle, when I get a chance I'm putting a 130 back in it and see what happens.
More air and fuel, now did you change the exhaust. Mine ran like crap when I just changed the exhaust until I changed the intake and jets. Probably works just the opposite too.
No in fact after I posted that I put cold intake on pops bike and now runs like shit at half throttle.and yea 125 jet coil and cdi checked and changed ???? From 70 to shit with intake im confused at the moment
welp... my exhaust pipe brackets finally broke cant really go anywhere -even if were to get a new pipe -no way to attach to the bike -but may have found a place that can rework the whole thing... hopefully
Import Cycle Center fixed my bike -they adjusted my vavles and got it working Had to do adjustments on the new carb.. but I drove it all the way home yay! lol
I think its my starter -may have replaced it a year ago.. but think its giving out :\ -went to Import Cycle Center -but couldnt get my bike there for them to just look at it -did see one of our clubs bikes there... completely gutted
no spark plug tool -everything is connected and I'm thinking only thing left is SP -and w/ all the moving (have to be out by toorrow morn) -no telling when able.. much less how to get the bike to new place
crap... bike not starting at all -replaced the carb all together and even got new fuel filter w/ it -still not starting. Its turning but not "catching fire" and starting... I'm so lost and soooo tired from moving.. cant think str8
let me tell you.. moving sux -moving a 3br town house into a 2br single wide trailer and I'm the only one that can lift stuff... gawd I hurt -have to have whole house empty by tomorrow night
I got your aurora stuff, you'll need to bring a external drive, it's about 15gb of stuff. Let me know if your coming over this morning, and bring the 10" laptop with you.
electric choke not working. check to make sure it's pluggred in, if it is it's sticking or bad. Time for a new carb, I've tried replacing just the choke and it didn't help matters waste of money. Buy a new carb off ebay. Click Here
I'm having probs starting -it just cranks and cranks till 30min later *yeesh it will catch.. and if dont keep it reved until its warm it wants to cut off... no fuel leaks.. all lines good -not sure what to check or if maybe carb needs cleaned or something... any ideas?
Took my scoot to work this morning, died about a mile from work. I think the Main Jet in the carb is clooged from sitting. She'll Idle but won't take any throttle. So I pushed to work and got a ride home tonight. I'll change the jets on my lunch break Sunday.
So my 10inch rim finally came in yesterday, and i was laughing my @ss off when i got it, the pictured show on the Sunny Style Parts section of scrappy dogs looks like a normal scooter rim, the one i received is gunna make ppl think im trying to "pimp my scoot" haha its awesome. nonetheless tho, scrappydogs is awesome. i litterally waited only 1 week for the part. within the next 2 days i shall have the scoot up and running yet again
I might be able to get it to boot from a flash drive image. Drop it off to me when you get the chance. got a new email address? Angel is looking for it!!
um... I actually have NO clue how to do all that lol for the comp I have xp cd -but its a 10" w/ no cdrom to reinstall -got a rootkit virus and destroyed the freaking image
maybe I can fix it the PC that is. As far as the Clutch, do what I said, if it ran dry it'll need to be bleed. There 2 bleeders one on the firewall and one on the slave cyclider. Usually the one on the firewall will do it. Same way you bleed brakes.
no dont have a webcam and the comp that does is broke w/ no way to fix it Brake res if full -clutch res have had to fill couple of times -might be a leak but cant find it
I've had a whole slew of people from china logging in here posting stupid ad crap in the forum so I set the New user sign up to Administartor approval.
what do you mean, the clutch won't move at all or does the pedal just go to the floor? most likely has a hydraulic clutch, did you check the resevoir? My Nissan pickup had a leaky slave cylinder and if the reservoir went dry it wouldn't shift either. If it did go dry, fill it with brake fluid, then follow the line down to the bleeder on the firewall and open the bleeder until you get a steady bleeding stream of fluid out of it and close it. Then try the clutch!
Grill cleaned and ready for CHICKEN Yeah! My brother may be coming over to have me work on his Mountainbike. Did I mention that I work on Bikes too! I ran the Eastern Virginia mountainBike Associations http//:www.evma.org/ website for 6 years. I have a Cannondale M500 frame with ALL aftermarket parts. Smooth bike. I need to get back into it again and loose this beer gut I have hehe. I will. Evma down at the moment but anyone interested they will be back up.
Oh and yes Tim we all want to ride but for me it's a little chilly at the monment and my scoot runs fine but the cowl is fucked up and i'm trying to find another one.
I've got tools just this damn nut is bigger than a vehicle lug wrench :\ -and I cant get to you w/ a flat tire *argh -do u know what size they are that might get one from advnace?
argh!! got a damn nail in my rear tire and cant find anything to get the damn lug nut off -the biggest socket I have is a 17mm and is to small.. this sux
